Texas hold em: should I play certain cards combination the exact same way?
Im a beginner so dont roast me! haha! I was wondering should i draw up a plan for my pre-flop cards in certain position and play them the same way ALL the time without wavering from this?
I understand that you should stick to the same betting strategy is acceptable but what about playing certain cards the same way in certain positions?

Too many times have I seen people be very aggressive with AK in position and get beat by middle and even small pairs.

Of course not. You should never do anything the same way ALL the time without wavering.

How could you even draw up a plan? Wouldn’t the chip stacks affect your betting as well?

And preflop AK is behind small and middle pairs, so I’m not sure why you seem surprised it would be beaten.

my brother is a poker player born and elevated in england. this is his only supply of cash flow. he needs to go to vegas in the summertime to engage in poker. would he want a work visa or a vacationer visa to lawfully gamble

If he’s preparing on generating more than $ 600, he almost certainly needs a perform or business visa. Probably as a “professional athlete”? The U.S. Consulate would be the very best resource of details.

Or maybe a typical vacationer visa is ample?

well there is a security guard if u want to work as that and in gambling also the dealer in some some games i think and the mantiance guy and the attendant and well the player.

im from the united kingdom, i have stayed in the philippines for 7 months and i need to get an exit visa to go back to the uk. how and where do i go to get this?

All I got from the previous poster’s llink was an offer to buy poker chips.

So I will answer.

You need an Emmigration Clearance Certificate

Go to your nearest bureau of immigration. Check this list for the one nearest you

Avoid Mondays and Fridays.

Take at least 3 passport style photos.

You can apply for the Emigration Clearance Certificate up to one month in advance.

It is completed in duplicate. One copy they keep and the other copy is for you to hand to immigration at passport control, just before your flight.

The cost is supposed to be P1,010 but as recently as a month ago, people were reporting that they were still paying the old price of P500. Perhaps it depends on which office you use.
