In poker, Texas Hold ‘em specifically…?
…if two players have the same cards in their hands (say both have a king to match one in the flop, and each have another card of a different value to both each other and the king in their hand), so as they both have a pair of kings, is the pot split, or is it drawn via the high card in their hand?
Also, if there is another high card on the table, is it disregarded and the winner decided by their highest other card or do they just split the pot?
I know it’s long winded, but it’s quite a specific situation. if it’s incomprehensible do tell and I’ll try and clear it up!
Thanks in advance!

it goes by the next highest card, the pot is only split if ALL your cards match.
