Poker sites – are they fair?
Hi guys,
Do you think poker sites are fair?
I’ve started playing days ago, actually restarted after a long time. I started winning, winning a lot. My luck was on the top. Until I made my second deposit, I was winning. but then, suddenly, it all started to go wrong – just suddenly. I have after 3 days of losing counted what I lose. I would for example have 88 and somebody with 45 would win me. I have A7 with the cards opened A72. the opponent has 48. the next two cards coming are 88.This kind of situations has happened three times more than winning with cards with which you need to win because you have a better hand, and I promise you it has since both me and my girlfriend have counted. It is absolutely shocking. And wherever I win with a good hand is an insignificant hand, wherever we are all in – usually with one opponent, I lose. Honestly, I have AQ and the flop opens AQ5. my opponent has 78. the other two cards are 77. Or, another thing. I have A7, my opponent has Q9. The flop opens A73. two of them are hearts, i have no hearts, my opponent has one heart. Once my opponent bluffs and is all in, 2 more hearts come up – simply serving the win “on a crate” to my opponent.
You might say it can’t be unfair, because my opponents winning me are other people, but I have quite a strong reputation, lots of Frequent Player Points and I have a good history, winning a lot. Most of other players don’t have as good history as I do. Is this done on purpose, so that those who have won start to lose to those who haven’t won, so that everybody continues playing?
Please take it for granted that in the last couple of days, the way I’ve lost my money was INCREDIBLY unbelievable, absolutely shocking. I understand losing once, losing twice, losing three times with AA, but losing more than winning against one opponent? If you find more than 10% chance of me losing with my cards in the last days all together on average in the hands I’ve lost, I’d be the happiest person on the planet. Please take it for granted.
I know online casinos are unfair, there is no question about this – my uncle even works as an accountant in a software development company making software for casinos – I promise you, he knows for fact that the developers make the software in a way so that nobody wins, just to give it a try, I’ve played a russian roulette, not for much, but just to check. After placing bets on red 8 times, I’ve lost (I’ve started betting from the lowest stake, £0.03, I won a bit like £0.20, but then lost after getting black for 8 times).
The way it is is that do ens of mathematicians sit down and analyse so that nobody wins – e.g. one person placing bets on the same cannot win.
Are pokersites working in this way as well? many, do ens of factors are taken into account, it could be the player’s history against their opponent, the addiction (so if one losses, they know for sure he will deposit again) etc.
P.S. to give more facts – the first couple of days when I was winning, I was playing tournaments of 6 and on average, out of every 10 tournaments at least on 7 of them I would be in at least the 2nd position. This was profitable for me. this has changed dramatically, especially losing on the last opening card in significant hands, so that it’s become terribly unprofitable.
2nd fact. I’ve transferred some money to my friend. He has had exactly the same experience. He started winning as I was, but then, soon, the same things happened to him – he started losing on the last card in significant hands etc.
What are your thoughts? Please give me any information relevant to this, if you know any facts or figures showing that my view is right or wrong, please post it here, I’d really appreciate it.

ummm… you are writing to much…
I make it simple: You started winning, you won more, you played more you lost, you wanted the money back you played even more…….
