Yuko – permanent hair straightening – is it good?

Yuko – permanent hair straightening – is it good?
Has anyone had it done and can they recommend anywhere in London? Also bit of an odd question but once you have had it done could you curl it with curlers for a party etc.? or can it not be changed from straight at all cos every so often i like to curl it! Thank you!!

Oh, there was this brilliant review where a curly, fri y redhead (red hair is supposed to be the most rebellious) went to get it done and the results are outstanding.

Give me a couple of minutes, I’ll find the article.

Damn it! It’s been removed! It was supposed to be this: http://lifestyle.uk.msn.com/beauty/a…umentid=346310 but that links straight to the homepage! =(

This is an article on another type of permanent straightening with pictures, from MSN too, and talks about Yuko: http://style.uk.msn.com/fashionandbeauty/bebeautiful/article.aspx?cp-documentid=9447488
But the pictures aren’t as good as the ones I remember from the previous article.

In brief, you have to avoid washing your hair for about 2-3 days so it can get used to being straight, and then you can wash it and style it if you so prefer. But when you wash it again, it goes poker straight again.

It lasts at its best about half a year. If you want it constantly at its best, you’d have to get it done annually.
