How valuable are these Gramophone (Phonograph) records? and where should I take them?
Hello, I once inherited a collection of around 30 Gramophone records, Many ‘Broadcast Twelve’ that I know ceased production around 1930, Some Columbia, Melodisc, Regal Records and His Master’s Voice.
Lots of them have Stickers with copyright companys like ‘Lawrence Wright London’ and ‘Chappel & Co’ with a small “1D” which I am assuming is a First Edition sticker.
The vast majority are double sided with different music by the same performers, some having a different 1st edition stickers on their other side
I have written down the details of every record and for interest this is just one of the His Master’s Voice records:

HI! HO! THE MERRIO — Fox-Trot (Conrad) Speed 78
Savoy Orpheens at the Savoy Hotel London
Dance Band (4-463)
[Sticker = Francis Day & Hunter 1D]
Cat no. B 5103

CHINESE MOON — Fox-Trot (Nussbaum)
Savoy Orpheens at the Savoy Hotel London
(4-462) [Sticker = Copyright Cambell Connelly 1D]
Cat no. B 5103.

I Also have
GIPSY PRINCESS SELECTION Parts 1 and 2 with a BIEM sticker, and its Cat is DB395 (in the HMV collection)
I know its not easy to properly apraise something without seeing it so here is a link to the collection, sorry it is not individual I had little time:

Basically the man who collected these was my grandfather and his widow (my grandmother) is now in hard times and If these could raise her a good amount of money then I feel it would be his wish to sell them.
However, I’m not sure if they should be going to a museum?! and if so where? Who do I contact / where do I take these? The last thing I would want to do is sell them to someone who is going to sell them on for more, that would not make their original collector happy
O lastly 2 of them have slight mildew / white mould on the records that happened at sometime before I got them, everything about them is bone dry now and they are in a protected wooden box but how / should I clean the white dusty spots on those particular discs?
Thank you for you time, I hope I have given enough information
