I need to find a gas poker for lighting our fire, but the new end of hose fittings dont match what comes ….?
….. the new end of hose fittings (available from www.bes.co.uk) do not match what comes out of our floor. I think I need to have what they call a “female” end to the host and the modern ones are all “male”. Its should push and turn onto the fitting on the floor.

Gas pokers and stove lighters are available for about £3.99 from most supermarkets. If yours is a particular model take the end to a reputable Fireplace dealer who will be able to source one for you
