Do Vegas casino`s cages/money desks maintain a record of what a player has cashed out?

Do Vegas casino`s cages/cash desks keep a record of what a player has cashed out?
In Aprill 2010 on my last night in vegas i won $ 30,000 on the roulette tables, I cashed the chips out for cash, the next day i flew home. Im having some issues with the money i put into my bank account, im being questioned for tax reasons etc.(3yrs later)

Now my question is would the casino cage have kept a record of me cashing the chips for cash? I have gotten a statement from MLife but this does not show the information i need, I need a receipt of some sort to prove where i got the money from. Would casinos in vegas keep and hold this type of Information? Obviously in vegas 30k is a little win compared to some of the big high rollers so im not holding much hope this is kept on file.

Any info would be appreciated.

They report anything over 10k to the IRS (or it might be 5k I forget), UK has a tax treaty with the USA, the normal way it goes is that 30% tax is deducted by them immediately and you can then file a claim when you get back to the UK to recoup that.

Not too sure in your case. I suspect you would be better off posting this in one of the main poker forums such as 2+2. There will be people there that are familiar with the ins and outs of the tax situation on big wins.
