How do you play an undeveloped hand right after the flop in Texas Keep ‘em?

How do you play an undeveloped hand after the flop in Texas Hold ‘em?
When you have a hand like AA, AK, AQ, KK and the like, be they suited or unsuited, I normally feel as though I have the wherwithal to make a significant opening gambit.
However, when the flop comes an unhelpful 2 5 3 or something, what is the best way to play it? Muck your hand and lose your initial raise, or is confidently pushing more chips in a better way to go?

chances are with those big two dealt cards and a crap flop, you will have the best hand, especially if AA Or KK.

re-raise the pot, chances are you will get everyone else to fold since the flop is so poor

an ace in heads up play is a good thing to have, even better with a high kicker.

and if the flop does come 2,5,3, you’ve got the chance for a straight drawer
